Dr. Stephen Collins
Dr.
Stephen Collins is Director, Global Government and Regulatory Affairs at
Skype. He was previously Director, International Public Policy at Yahoo!
Inc. In earlier professional lives he worked in the not-for-profit sector
(German-British Forum), academe (University of Birmingham), and government
(Foreign & Commonwealth Office, London).
He has held positions on the boards
of the Internet Service Providers’ Association UK, London; the International
Communications Round Table, Brussels; the European Digital Media
Association, Brussels. He remains on the board of the German-British Forum.
He holds three degrees in International Relations and Political Science,
including a PhD from the University of Birmingham.
