
After
completing his Ph. D. thesis on
"The
Central Capital Market Committee - A Model for Self-Regulation of Credit
Institutions" at the Institute for Capital Market Research and a brief spell
at the
Deutsche Gesellschaft für Wertpapiersparen mbH, Mr von Rosen spent 12 years
at Deutsche Bundesbank as the Head of the President’s Office, Head of the
Press and Information Department and Personal Advisor to President
Pöhl.
During 1986 and 1993 he served as the Executive Vice Chairman at the
Federation of the German Stock Exchange. For the next four years He was a
member of the Executive Board with Deutsche
Börse AG. At
present he holds an honorary Professorship at the Goethe-University as well
as acting as Managing Director of Deutsches Aktieninstitut.
Professor von Rosen is the author of several books, editor of an edition on the financial markets as well as numerous articles relating to the German stock exchange system, the international capital markets, the integration of European securities markets, corporate governance, compliance and other topics.
