Dr Janet Xuanli Liao by training is a specialist on international relations and China's foreign policy decision-making. She studied her BA and MA degrees in History at Peking University in China, and obtained her second MA degree in International Relations from the International University of Japan, and received her PhD degree in International Relations from the University of Hong Kong.
