Dr. Alfred Tacke
The economist, holder of a doctor's degree, held the office of state secretary in the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Labor since October 1998. Dr. Tacke was appointed a member of the STEAG GmbH Management Board effective December 1, 2005, and was its chairman since January 1, 2005 (it recently changed name its name to Evonik Steag GmbH) . Since January 2, 2007, he is the Chairman of the Management Board of Evonik Steag GmbH and a member of the Management Board of Evonik Industries.
