David Lyon
David Lyon is a senior manager in Arthur D. Little’s Sustainability and Risk Practice. He specialises in new energy technologies, carbon management and enabling organisations respond to the challenges of sustainable development. He has worked with companies to develop their strategies across the carbon value chain and for renewables. His work also addresses opportunities associated with distributed energy and identifying opportunities for technologies such as fuel cells.
In the broader sustainability area, he has worked with governments, numerous international companies and NGOs. He helps them understand the context behind social and environmental issues, develop an appropriate strategy and embed them into the organisation.
He has degrees from Oxford University and Yale University in Biological Sciences and Environment Studies respectively. Prior to working in Arthur D. Little he worked on urban regeneration and natural resource management in North America, East and West Africa.
