Peter Maher
National Head of Financial Services – Smith & Williamson

Peter-Maher-Chosen-B&W-Photo-ThumbPeter’s career has encompassed 10-years with two leading insurance companies, four years with the UK’s largest privately owned insurance broker and six years as a partner with a long established actuarial firm.

He joined Smith & Williamson in July 2000 as a director of the personal financial planning & employee benefits practice with responsibility for Bristol and Leamington Spa offices.

Peter is now National Head of Financial Services (based out of London), incorporating, Personal Financial Planning, Employee Benefit Consultancy, Trust Corporation, Small Self-Administered Schemes and Self Invested PersonalPensions divisions and has more than 30 years relevant industry experience.

Peter is a keen golfer, avid sports fan and is interested in current affairs and new world wines particularly sauvignon blanc.
