Jim Hancock was Political Editor of Granada and BBC North West. Now he’s working with some of the country’s major companies in hosting their conferences.
Recent roles include moderating a major conference with Sir Howard Davies (Airports Commission Chair) on runway capacity in the South East,United Utilities management conference and a “Framing The Future” event backed by Peel Holdings as part of the Liverpool International Festival of Business Other clients include BioNow and City South, one of the country’s biggest housing associations.
He is in high demand for media training from companies like Siemens and Barclays Bank plus major local authorities including Lancashire and Cheshire West and Chester Councils.
Jim hosts events for the Royal Television Society where he has interviewed the BBC’s Political Editor Nick Robinson, Channel Four’s Michael Crick. Next is Newsnight’s Kirsty Wark.
In the autumn he offered political commentary on the Scottish Referendum and the party conference season on radio stations in the North West. He also blogs on Downtown in Business websites across the North of England.
